260 drivers were trained in Safe Lifting and Safe Load Securing in 2014
In 2014, Mantum Special AB organized training for nearly 260 drivers in Safe Lifting and Safe Load Securing. The training sessions were held in Eskilstuna (40 people), Varberg (70 people), Varberg (40 people), , Örnsköldsvik (40 people), and Gränna (70 people). The instructors were Gösta Granlund from CERTEX and Sven Sökjer-Petersen from MariTerm AB.
Incident involving a flatbed trailer
The wall shifted during transport. This was likely due to the lack of a locking mechanism in the rear section of the wall. It is very important that walls be secured with either hydraulic locks or similar devices.
