If a unloading area is covered with water, snow, or something similar, it is impossible to tell whether the surface is level and safe for parking the flatbed truck.
That’s why you shouldn’t just take a chance, and you shouldn’t trust anyone who claims the surface is even.
One possible scenario is, for example, that a trailer or flatbed moves while parked and may catch on and bend the bracket holding the walls in place, which could result in a near-miss (see photos)
In that case, you’ll have to continue unloading directly instead of setting up a drop-off point. But be sure to talk to the assembly team and traffic control first!
Also, make sure the hydraulic arms are FULLY lowered to eliminate the risk!
