DO NOT use wooden shims as a leveling material

Whenever it is necessary to use a leveling block, a leveling block is exactly what must be used. It is NOT permitted or safe to build your own structure using, for example, wooden blocks. There is a high risk that a load will tip over or shift, and this risk increases further in winter weather. Be sure to contact traffic control if you are instructed to do so. Warehouse staff are not always trained in load securing, so they are not aware of the risks associated with such a solution.
