If a unloading area is covered with water or something similar, you cannot tell whether the surface is level and safe for parking the trailer.
That’s why you shouldn’t just take a chance, and you shouldn’t trust anyone who claims the surface is even.
One possible scenario is, for example, that a trailer or flatbed moves while parked and may catch on and bend the bracket holding the walls in place, which could result in a near-miss (see photos)
In that case, you’ll have to continue unloading directly instead of setting up a drop-off point. But be sure to talk to the assembly team and traffic control first!
Also, make sure the hydraulic arms are FULLY lowered to eliminate the risk!
