Use pipe insulation around protruding rebar

When loading precast elements with protruding rebar, pipe insulation must be used to mark the location of the rebar.

These should be secured with cable ties and (if possible, sprayed orange)

The equipment must be available at the factories that produce these components. If the necessary materials are not available, traffic control must be contacted BEFORE departure.

This applies to all the front and rear rebar.
