The accident shown in the photos below was caused by the following:
1) The walls have not been closed off laterally
2) The gate, which locks forward and partially to the side, has not been secured
3) Far too few overlap lashings have been used, given the lack of a front closure
4) Possible excessive speed through the roundabout
The diagram below shows the correct front closure, which is mandatory for standing elements.
