Last Saturday, October 17, a site visit was held in connection with new deliveries of swap body flatbeds. Drivers had the opportunity to suggest improvements to the flatbeds and then participate in a joint training session on load securing. Overall, everyone agreed that the walls should be crisscrossed, secured with brackets at the top of the gate and in the middle of the gate, friction should be provided by a wooden or rubber mat on the floor, and, last but not least, the load should be secured laterally with stakes and blocks.
