Winter is just around the corner again, so it’s high time to get ready for it and be extra vigilant!
Salt or an equivalent de-icing agent must be used during all loading operations—both direct loading and pre-loading—to minimize the risk of cargo shifting.
Also, be sure to be extra careful when conducting self-inspections of pre-loaded loads (clamp trucks and load changers). Those of you who work primarily with direct loading should be especially attentive on site. Don’t skimp on securing your cargo!

In summary, take as much time as you need to deliver the cargo safely. If the unloading time starts to run out, just let traffic control know. Drive carefully and take care of yourselves!
