Tall beams are among the most dangerous items that can be transported, as there is a false sense of security in the fact that they do not tip over on their own.
It is not uncommon for beams to be loaded and unloaded without being secured individually. This is LIFE-THREATENING.
Below are examples of how to secure narrow, tall beams. Edge protection must always be used, as it not only protects the concrete from damage caused by the chains but also improves load securing.

Use spacers for these types of beams so that the beams are locked together laterally.

During loading and unloading, it is a 100% requirement that the beams be secured individually, as shown in the image below. Otherwise, loading and unloading involve LIFE-THREATENING.
Below are some good examples of situations where struts could be used but are not.
